Bought several packs of bags. So far all bags have ruptured due to a combination of air pressure and friction during use. You can imagine the mess this causes in the bag chamber. I had to vacuum the chamber and internal filter every time the bag ripped. Of course you need a second vacuum cleaner for this. I can't always tell if the bag is ruptured because the pitch of the vacuum cleaner noise changes during use. I have to wonder what internal damage this is doing to the engine. The problem seems to be that the area of the bag under and around the cardboard flap that slides into the plastic guide is at risk as the plastic guide rubs against the bag. At the same time, when the bag is inflated, the air pressure pushes the two sections together, and the harder plastic slider eventually tears the bag apart. SOLUTION: The area of the paper bag around the cardboard flap needs to be reinforced. I use duct tape.
