Strong as all get out BUT fragile and breaks easy!

Very strong! We used these to mount our knives on a pull-down knife block. The knives are stored horizontally and the handles are very heavy on my knives so they fall down when I pull it down. The blades don't come off the magnets at all because of how strong they are. BUT these are extremely fragile. One was broken on arrival and one snapped in half as I tried to pull them apart. We had to handle them very gently. Overall, they get the job done. If I were to do it again I would just spend the money on a knife magnet strip.
