Had to replace the steering pump on the 2015 JKU Rubicon with 35" tires after the original pump failed. The device looks exactly like the original Chrysler brand apart from the Chrysler star embossed on the case. I also replaced the steering fluid reservoir with an Omix-Ada reservoir, at the same time my old strainer was clogged as some have mentioned. After reassembly, I filled it halfway with Lucas A/C power steering fluid and then, without starting the engine, rotated the steering wheel back and forth about 25 times to purge air from the line. I then added ATF +4 to the bottom cooling mark on the reservoir as per the manual and repeated the process 3 times to ensure there was no air in the lines. After starting the engine for the first time, turn the steering a little further to make sure all the air has been expelled. I checked the container again and added liquid as needed and filled to the bottom chill mark. So far so good and smooth and I have power steering again. I will be adding updates on how it holds up over time compared to the original pump but so far so good.
