Sturdy and well built, it saw much use in the Northeast during the winter of 2014. The end of the ice scraper is strong and doesn't have nicks like cheap plastic ice scrapers. My only complaint is that it's sometimes difficult to properly snap the extension into place. That's probably because it requires a certain level of fine motor skills and my hands are cold with thick gloves. My previous version of this type of device had a twist-to-lock extension that was easier to use but ended up breaking. In fact, it takes a little patience and practice and it really works. It takes long enough for me to get to the other side of great exercise utility. It's also durable when fully extended, which is crucial for getting through inches of snow without damaging it. I would give 4 1/2 stars if it was an option but I feel like there is room for improvement. I wish the brush was a bit wider. I would pay more for one with a 50% wider brush. It takes too many passes to clean something with such a narrow brush. I would (and probably will) buy another one. I don't know what the icebreaker part is for, but it looks like the equivalent of an ice hammer. At that point it was time to give up and go back inside.
