Not sure how long chain whip will stay attached, chain whip makes it difficult to hold pedal wrench

Here's an old bike enthusiast - he's been carrying bikes since childhood for over 50 years. I love having the right tools for my bikes and after experimenting with this wrench it doesn't work for me. For the average kid's bike user, this combo tool will suffice. It is average as a chain whip and below average as a pedal wrench. The reason it's average on both counts is because the chain isn't attached to the handle with screws like the Park, but is held in place by rivets in the chain. I've taken apart 2 of these whips in the past (not this one yet) and it's the same design so I see a problem in the future. Of course. It has a warranty, but it's no use to me if I have to wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement when I'm trying to finish the job. The other issue I had is that the end of the chain is opposite the pedal wrench. You can't put your hand on the end of the chain whip to press the hard pedal removal button. The chain also makes the end too big for my longtime but very useful "cheat whistle" often needed for unruly pedals. Look at my photos and look at the position of the chain on the end of the wrench relative to my hand while the wrench is on the pedal (yellow arrow). There's no way I can put my hand too tight on this chain because it really hurts - I've tried - and my "cheat pipe" doesn't fit the end of the chain. The chain is riveted (see arrow) and not screwed like the upper end of a park chain whip. So if I want to take the chain off the whip to use it on the pedal, I need a chain riveting tool, not a hex wrench, and that's a lot of bolts. be successful in reality because he's trying to do too many things at once. I pull wrenches on bikes daily and use my trusty thin/long 15mm snap-on combo wrench and pedal tensioner bar and Park chain whip 98% of the time, except when I need 2 chain whips at once for specific applications. If you're serious about your bike tools and work a lot like me, spend the extra money on a Park PW-4 pedal wrench (or smaller Park model), buy a 15mm snap-on wrench in the right one Size (or both) and buy a Park SR 2.3 chain whip (or smaller Park model) - they are made for a specific purpose. Hope that helps!
