Once fitted, the curtain rod looks neat and seems to be doing its job well. Unfortunately, I had a few small doubts about the packaging and the design. My first problem arose with the unboxing experience. The inner wand is packaged in a plastic sleeve that cannot be completely removed. Eventually you do it in about thirty swirling, static bits. Everything else was as expected. Installation caused quite a bit of drama, as the supplied screws weren't the right size for any of the Phillips mounts, and would back out completely at the first sign of wall resistance. Luckily I had better quality screws and was able to attach the new curtains. Finally, I couldn't help but notice that the inner bar was not, or not even, attached to the outer bar. While this isn't a problem as the brackets offer an easy set screw to tighten everything up once installed, it still feels a bit cheap - which it certainly was. Disappointment aside, it's not a bad option as long as you know what you're getting into.
