If you want to add sound to your lid, do it inexpensively! I haven't used them for calls but they connect well and stay connected. Battery life has been excellent so far. The sound isn't the best, but you can hear music and traffic, so it works well. I wish they had more bass but don't expect too much for the price. If you buy these expecting soundstage quality you will be disappointed. However, once you understand that with less than $20 you get ringtones and calls as well as convenience, you will be pleasantly surprised.
