Review on 🔒 ACDelco GM GT231 Fuel Tank Filler Cap, Black - Original Equipment by Lance Levatte

After encountering an EVAP issue on my '99 GMC Sierra, I decided to replace the gas cap. I ordered this cap which is an exact OEM replacement. I also ordered one for my 06 Sierra thinking it was the same one but after replacing it and immediately finding the problem with the evaporator I put the old one back in and it fixed it. Noticed that my Sierra 06 cover is not threaded but has two clamping cams, one on each side. So check your old cap or check the inside of the filler neck. Although this cap fit and was tight, it did not seal well on my '06 Sierra.
