I bought this meter to monitor my portable generator run hours. Installation was easy: a little velcro. Hookup was easy too - just two spade lugs attached to the wire end of the lamp cord, which I then plug into one of the generator outlets. Accurately measures the number of hours of operation and the vibration does not bother him at all. Good counter.
