I didn't know what to expect from this lighting set but I bought three of them. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers were talking about, but this headlight is very bright! We've used them two nights in a row for an hour + cycling each night and they work amazingly well. I have some good flashlights that are brighter, but this one gives enough light for my needs. The tail light also works well and is very bright. It also has many light patterns to choose from. I have two complaints. 1) Although the front light can be easily removed for charging, I am concerned that the seemingly flimsy latch on the mount will loosen and/or break over time. 2) The rear light, like the front light, must have a semi-permanent mount and an easily removable charging mechanism. In order to charge the rear light, I always remove it completely. It's not difficult to put on, but I think it could be a little more thought out. Time will tell but so far I'm very happy with the three sets of these lights I've purchased.
