Review on 🌟 Garmin Venu Sq Music GPS Smartwatch – Bright Touchscreen Display, Music Playback, 6-Day Battery Life – Light Gold and Navy Blue by Kelly Noonan

Pretty good but didn't keep due to terrible Garmin sleep tracking

I've had a Fitbit Charge 3 since late 2018 and am pretty happy with it apart from the poor choice of watch faces. I wanted to see if there were better options now that it's been two years, so I tried the new Fitbit Sense and was very disappointed to say the least. This piqued my interest in Garmin, which prompted me to try the Venu Sq. If you don't mind the rather bumpy setup process and spend time customizing everything to suit your needs, you'll love this watch. i know what i did It's responsive, aesthetic, and straightforward in almost everything it shows you. Battery life is excellent even when the SpO2 monitor is on while you sleep (if it can even tell you when you're sleeping. More on that in a moment). Can't really comment on the activity tracking as I only ran a few miles with it, which it did very well. The Garmin Connect app needs some work, but it's obviously been given a lot of attention and there are some fantastic stats to watch out for if you're into it. I wasn't impressed at all with their app store, the Connect IQ Store. Despite all of that, I've decided not to keep this watch because Garmin's sleep-tracking tech is absolute crap. I sleep a lot and not only can Garmin not automatically detect them, I can't even type them in manually. Which genius at Garmin decided that everyone only sleeps once a day for a certain amount of time? Ridiculous. Fitbit They have some serious problems, but their sleep detection is light years ahead of them! I know Garmin focuses on athletics and basics, but this was a deal breaker for me.

Pros
