Review on 🔑 Jameco Valuepro IG-406D-2341 Key Lock Switch - Round Terminal Key, All Keyed Alike by Richard Payne

Just what I need. I installed it on my boat's dashboard so that the power for the stereo and power amp does NOT go through the ignition but through this little beauty. I did this so that when the engine shuts off the power doesn't go off for a moment (this can happen since it can't switch directly from ON to AUX, it has to switch to ON-OFF-AUX instead). messes up the Bluetooth connection. , it takes a second for the power amp to recognize that the stereo is back on and generally breaks the rhythm of the music (which is bad!). Before that I always connected them directly to the battery, but I didn't like it because then they were always in standby mode (instead of OFF) and drained the battery more. Considering that the boat is not used most of the time, this is very important. Being able to remove the key once it is either ON or OFF is a very good thing. I just turn on the devices before we go outside, pull out the key, and at the end of the day I do the opposite. I'm very pleased with how good it looks, especially considering how little time it took to install. I probably spent ten times as much time figuring out exactly where I wanted to place the verses when I was actually doing it!
