I put it in a 2.5" Syba U2 mobile rack with a 3.5 to 5.25 converter . I used a DiLinKer M.2 in U .2 cable to connect to the M.2 slot on my motherboard. We now have an easily detachable M2 2280. Of note is that the caddy requires SATA power for the M2 to work, this was a bonus for me as I can then use my SATA power button with the KingWin 6 port to power in and out Turning off the operating system and configuration - I love it. I haven't done any official speed tests but it seems very fast, as fast as it was when M.2 was on motherboard backplanes and mobile media, I used this hardware solution as I don't like software multiboot.
