This shell for the Macbook is a perfect fit with vent holes in the right places and all the ports have easy access. The plastic feels a little flimsy when you receive it but after putting it on the Mac it's just right. The texture/feel of the rubberized finish is just enough to give you a little extra grip on the laptop. I'll report back over time to see if it has developed any cracks or has come loose. So far so good and I'm very happy with the purchase.Update after several months of use: It's holding together ok, but I'm taking away 1 star since one of the feet fell off. It's still sticky, so I put it back on, but I'm now watching to make sure it doesn't fall off. I don't pull/drag the computer across any surfaces, so it's the adhesive that's not holding up. My laptop stays indoors and doesn't travel, so I suspect that if you were more active with it, you might be "footless" before too long. Otherwise, I don't have any cracks and the fit is still good for my late 2013 MBP 15 with Retina.update 2: keep away from sunscreen! The rubberized finish bubbles off if you get sunscreen on it. I was working on my MBP15 while relaxing in my hammock and had put on a spray on sunscreen. Where the case was resting on my stomach it turned white and bubbled off. Time to order a new case!
