You park your car where you want it
I ended up using tapcons to screw them to the floor. First I lined them up exactly in the middle of the tire track. It was too difficult to hit them right in the middle, so I moved them about 2 inches on each side so there were always some stops sticking out on either side. I still have a soft target on the ceiling that matches the mirror mount. They are way better than 2X4s that move or you trip when my truck comes out of the garage.
