If Buzz forgot his keys on the moon, he won't find them in this telescope. You can't discover new planets either, but it's very good for tinkering and looking at them slowly. At first I thought the tripod was too weak, but after test rides I found that the scope was light enough for a tripod. The first picture speaks for itself. The last two show the distance I took the average shot from. (Golfers were on the fairway over the lake. The mount that holds your phone over the lens is better than some of the more expensive options. One of the best birthday gifts I've ever received. Thanks Susie!
