This temperature sensor works well and I like the foldable design. This appears to be correct, but the claim of a 3 second temperature reading is bogus. It may take 10-15 seconds for the temperature to finally stabilize and you know what the actual temperature is. Meanwhile, your fingers will be grilled. This design is probably great for measuring things on the stovetop or even outside the oven, but it's too short to use over an open flame. This product would be perfect if it was twice the length.
