I used this to fill the automatic transmission of a 2007 BMW 335xi. It ended up getting the job done with less mess than a pump that screws onto the top of the bottle, but there were some headaches: 1. Most importantly, the cylinder o-ring didn't seal well initially; He kept sucking in air, making the work very slow and tedious. About the time I put 3 liters in (half the job) the oil had seeped into the o-ring, it started to seal, and the rest of the job went faster.2. The tip of the tubing is not as flexible as the tubing that comes with the bottle pump and it will not fit through the bottle neck to the fill hole. So I left the hose from the other pump in the filler hole and mounted the adapter from the syringe hose. This worked pretty well as I didn't have to crawl under the car to fill up.
