The reason I chose this net was that it withstands the chewing and thrashing of the fish to get to each other so they can still face each other and I can slide a ceramic bowl underneath to allow them to reproduce . So if you have an innovation for your tank, it could be a material that you can use. I would recommend it if you plan to build a plenum. for saltwater aquariums.
