ERROR: I incorrectly stated that Dolby Vision is disabled for non-Dolby Vision movies. At the moment this is not the case and this feature has to be disabled manually. I hope future versions will fix this. This player finally ticks the box: affordable, functional, and Dolby Vision compatible with a free firmware update. others are sold in department stores. But the visual quality is excellent and thanks to Dolby Vision it delivers a better picture if your film and TV support this HDR format. The player works well, is relatively quiet, and has a small number of apps that you probably already have on your TV. Blu-ray movies load quickly and play reliably.
