Buttons Get Hot in Styling Tools & Appliances

The button gets quite hot, the top gets warmer but not so hot that you can't touch it with your fingers to hold it for a while. a few seconds. Tends to snag on my hair causing me to tug at my hair to dislodge it from the shaft. The barrel itself doesn't heat up as expected, so you'll have to hold your hair longer than usual to get a decent curl. It does the trick, but I'm not sure how long the button will be quite hot to the touch.
