I can't give an objective review because any car that runs with this system is just stupidly designed. I'm sure this thing probably works. I don't think there was ever anything wrong with the original and the replacement I replaced (yes it's the third). I just replace it along with every sensor and all before I decide to take the engine apart and swap out the timing chain and be able to power up this huge POS engineered engine that GM built. I've never gutted another car from any manufacturer that uses the same VVT system. It's garbage. Honda has been using VVTs since the 80's and they are 1000 times smarter and more reliable than GM. So while I'm sure this particular party is great on its own, it's just part of an absolutely horribly designed VVT system.
