I really like this product

I really like this product. As a geek, I look forward to using this to automate my home to the point where the heating pad turns on when the cat lays in the cat bed. In terms of functionality, this is basically a Linux computer and I won't go into detail here. Once loaded, it worked well with all the devices I've connected to it so far (wireless mouse and keyboard, monitor directly over HDMI, connecting a VGA monitor through an HDMI-to-VGA adapter (you can use a passive adapter to from a computer's HDMI to a VGA monitor I mainly wrote this review to comment on some of the difficulties I had in setting this up for others to avoid: - The card reader on my 5 year old laptop doesn't support the microSD -Card I originally had I decided to use I already had a USB card reader (conveniently lost at the time) that worked: [Updated Version] Anker USB 3.0 4-Slot Card Reader with built-in 0.4ft cable for SDXC, SDHC, SD, CF, High- Speed CF (UDMA), MS, Micro SDXC, Micro SDHC, Micro SD cards [UHS-I card support] - SD card formatting software that for some reason in the rasbi an documentation (Raspberry OS Pi) doesn't want to be installed on my personal laptop, so I had to use my work laptop. The SanDisk microSD card I was trying to use wouldn't boot into the Raspberry Pi. I ended up using an older Sony microSD card. There is a list of compatible microSD cards online, so I recommend checking them before purchasing a card specifically for this purpose.
