I bought it as a birthday gift and I am very glad I did. Very simple patterns, but they turn out beautifully. The set contains everything you need: 4 embroidery frames, fabric (with pattern), threads, needles, needle threader and scissors. Plus they give you so much thread! I was really concerned about this, but I ended up with more than double what I needed in most colors (having sewn every thread down to the last inch, I think I could be a little less crazy!). Minor Cons: The actual sewing instructions aren't great, but there are some amazing quick videos on YouTube. I practiced on the corners of the fabric and after 2 tries I was able to make all the necessary stitches. I will be swapping out the hoops for bamboo before giving them away and saving the plastic hoops for future projects.
