First, the top 8 sheets are not stiff. They may not work for my purpose. Second, there were only 48 sheets in the package. Counted twice to check. Third, not all sheets appear to be the same thickness. Several sheets feel double in thickness but the sheet cannot be separated. If the product is packed by weight, this would explain the wrong number of sheets. I expected 50 stiff sheets, not 40 stiff sheets and other sheets. The two missing sheets are metallic gold and matallic silver. Guess I should have looked at the package more closely
