More durable than other "thin " filters
I have used other thinner and finer filters. They are stronger and have a larger surface area due to the ribbing, allowing them to capture more dust. Despite the fact that they cost more, they last longer, so it turns out that they do not differ much in cost. (3 months versus 1 month for cheaper filters)
