This blade is well suited for narrow cuts and incisions. Use a tongue cutter!

This machine cut through my 3" x 12" x 1/4" glass tiles with ease. As a homeowner confronted with installing 4x12 glass tile for the first time, I was intimidated by all the options (and warnings about cutting glass tile) I found. on the Internet. Having done a small portion of the work, I have some recommendations. Use this blade and a snap tile cutter. Thinset has business hours and helps you work faster. A clip-on tile cutter is inexpensive and works great if you can use it to cut large pieces straight through. This cut is clean, fast and quiet. A wet saw is noisy, slow and dirty. Blade for trimming thin edges and bevel cuts. If you're looking for clean, perfect edges, both the button cutter and this blade need some sharpening. Use three levels of sandpaper of gradually increasing fineness to clean the edge.
