These socks look like they're made from torn wool. When we wear them, we can believe that they contain wool. But how much? They seem pretty well made, so we think they'll hold up. They wash without problems and feel good on the feet. If we have any complaints, it's that they're a bit short for Crew hiking socks. They should be about two inches taller (especially if someone is wearing mid-height hiking boots/shoes). We'd like to know how much they cost (shown as 'unavailable' at the time of this review, cost not listed). Assuming they're sold at a reasonable price, we're comfortable with a 4-star rating. But an outrageous price? Then we shoot down the star. Because they are good, but not very good. 4 stars.
