I received this because I was expecting to need a code or something similar when trying to use it on a TV. NO! In fact, the IT worked without code or programming. Just rotate the point and shoot! Don't expect that to be the case with all TVs without exception. I have vW32L HDTV30A. Be sure to check the back of the TV to see which model it is and compare it to the models in the description. It's nobody's fault, it's your own if you buy this without first checking if it's for your TV. But on MY model everything worked EXCELLENT, no problems. All the buttons my TV uses work. Recommend.
