This is good wire but difficult to strip without stripping most of the individual wires that make up the core. I've found that the best way to do this is to use an automatic wire stripper that grabs the wire from one side and rips it apart with a blade rather than doing it by hand. They cost $5 at Walmart if you don't have them. I also found it easier to remove it in 1/8" increments and work backwards until you removed the correct length, rather than removing a lot at once. I used it to connect a DVR. Works well.
