Appears to be of good quality. Flexible insulation.

Decent wire. Good insulation was a bit of a concern from other reviews but seems good to me. It's flexible insulation, almost like flexible silicone. Therefore, as with any wire, care must be taken that it does not touch the metal edges! The conductor seems to be a good metalhead. Handles up to 20 amps in my e scooter build. Of course I don't use 20ft lengths, the max run length is 2ft. The crimping of the blue connectors is good.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good wire but difficult to strip

This is good wire but difficult to strip without stripping most of the individual wires that make up the core. I've found that the best way to do this is to use an automatic wire stripper that grabs the wire from one side and rips it apart with a blade rather than doing it by hand. They cost $5 at Walmart if you don't have them. I also found it easier to remove it in 1/8" increments and work backwards until you removed the correct length, rather than removing a lot at once. I used it to connect

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

cheap wire. for amplifier installation

Very cheap and very thin copper plating. But for $7, it's actually not that bad. I saw people complaining that it was impossible to solder, well no, and the solder flowed down the wire almost immediately. Maybe they got a bad batch, or they're using too high a temperature, or they just don't know what they're doing, but the 2 coils I got are fine. I would never use this cable for anything that requires high voltage or high current, most likely I will use it for some of my test jigs that always…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • A small change

Fragile stands but functional

I used a wire to fit a relay to allow the auxiliary power connections in my car to work with the ignition and due to some wires it made sense to crimp some connectors as well a bit of soldering. The crimp was fine and there was no problem with solder inclusions when using a good soldering iron as others have said, although as it is aluminum clad I could see why this could be an issue. The coasters are very thin and easy to cut. and break. I'm usually pretty good at avoiding this, but with this…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Low repairability
