I am a first mother turtle and these are the only pellets my baby red-eared turtle will eat. This spring my mother-in-law's favorite turtles laid some eggs and found this little guy stuck in an outdoor pond filter. Anyway, I took a two-month-old turtle and quickly found that it could only eat earthworms and mealworms. I've tried several other brands of baby turtle pellets but this is the only one he's happy to eat (if you break the pellets in half!). I'm so glad other reviews mention this because I almost gave up trying to get him to eat a healthy/balanced diet. This formula is packed with nutrients, including calcium, which is vital for shell development, so I recommend these kibbles to picky eaters!
