I bought three of these to control the temperature and humidity outside. They've performed brilliantly throughout the summer season, but there's little difference between the three devices recording in the same conditions (+/- 4 degrees; this may seem finicky, but when you're using them for scientific research you want accurate data recording ). The instructions are very simple and poorly written so I'm not sure if they can be calibrated. I may not even be using the full potential of the included software. Also, when making your first purchase, make sure they include a computer interface. I first bought it to compare to my HOBO but found that the option I chose did not include a computer interface. In terms of value I think this is a worthwhile purchase but if I had the money I would go with HOBO data loggers.
