Mount this on a tripod with my phone in a scope in my backyard and the ability to focus and zoom was great. I was able to see detail and see things like bird nests clearly, and even videos are very clear through the scope if I focus properly. It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but still light enough to travel with.
