BALLIN! I LOVE this hair straightener and quickly sold my old headboard straightener goodbye. Anyway, all that aside, I really love this thing. I have very thick wavy curly black hair (latinx) that takes at least 2 hours to style. My old headboard straightener seared and then bloated my arm and oddly the joints in my arm with pain (admittedly I had to take a break because my arm was still sore). I was looking for something that really works and is reasonably priced. I first saw it and tested it on my hair at a women's show in Hartford, but they tried to sell it to me for $150 and I went to Amazon to see if I could get a deal. Now the person trying to sell me PYT saw me on my phone and I think they knew I was looking at Amazon, got angry and offered me an item for $80. It was a steal but I found it for $45 which is a much better deal. And I have to say I was worried about getting a fake but I've used it a few times and it does the job. What used to take more than 2 hours now takes a maximum of 15 minutes. I can straighten and style my hair very quickly and without arm pain. I only got this last year in November or so, but so far so good. However, I would say I wouldn't use it every day as it gets very hot and looks like the kind of product that will eat away at your hair if you use it every day.
