The tool does exactly what it is supposed to do. My only complaint is that there needs to be more threading on the moving sleeve to make it a little easier to engage the compression part. I was in the perfect position, but I had to tilt my foot backwards to catch the threads and then move my foot back into a better position. Another thread would make it redundant. I found this much more important for the lower side springs. The tool MUST get caught on this, otherwise it will simply fall apart. ATTENTION: You need sufficient free space (approx. 3 inches) to the left and right of the cylinder heads. On my F250, the evaporator housing got in the way. It had to be removed, but by the time you realize you're in trouble, it's too late. I had to resort to the much less controlled and wrinkled "screwdriver method" for the three roller tappets.
