Review on Wolo (858) Tornado Heavy-Duty Compressor: Powerful 2.5 Gallon Tank for Efficient Air Supply by Will Anderson

This is my second order of this product. The quality is excellent and in combination with the Volo horns it produces a really realistic deep pull sound. Living far in upstate New York, I have found that installing a tank and compressor under my bed, which is exposed to the weather and road salt during the winter, significantly reduces life expectancy. I installed my second purchase under the tunnel cover on the back of my truck. This setup has proven to be great as it is weatherproof and the ease of use of the air hose attachments is also much more affordable. Update: This setup worked well for a total of about 4 months before one problem after another started appearing. The setup is perfect as there are no parts and all connections are in order and installed cleanly on a brand new truck by a certified dealer. First error was the drive so I replaced it with the correct one from wolo, 2nd problem, 3rd problem, 4th problem. The fuses kept blowing so I personally checked all the connections and grounds and then also went to the dealer to check and then replaced all the wiring to no avail. Right now I have a new reservoir and compressor system less than a year old in the back of my truck that is dying, won't turn on or fill with air like it's not getting power, but I can still turn on the horn and hear a click drive, so I know the power is there. At this point I've tried two of these compressor and tank setups, I quit professionally, spent too much money to have it all fail and stop working. I'm done with this product and will make sure no one I know is wasting their time or money on this if I can help.
