These flash drives are great for small files where you don't need to transfer a lot of information. That way you won't notice how slow they are. But save video files or lots of pictures, and you might as well catch up on a few posts, have lunch, or write a short novel. The drive is not recognized and the computer tells me that it is not working properly. Simply unplugging and plugging it back in will solve the problem. So far I haven't had any problems with data loss. It's not my first choice for flash drives, but the price is really hard to beat, and if your transfer volume isn't that big, it's fine.
