Bought these one size 8 for a petite (short) skinny 8 year old and they fit like they've outgrown them. He will outgrow them within 6 months. Very disappointed considering how cute they are and he loves them. The best advice is to buy 2 years more if you want a medium sized child to grow in it and at least 1 year more. at least they fit. The pajamas are well made, just run small. We recommend if you buy plus sizes. We took 2 stars because we didn't want to return Santa's Christmas present and also because manufacturers and sellers need to be more realistic in their sizes; However, we would order again (2 sizes larger).
