RIPOFF - Verizon Thieves, Scams, Abusive Company - Poor Customer Service

Wireless Service Nightmare - Late Payments and Changing Deadlines without Notice Save Yourself the Misery I had one of those cute boxes, works great no cords to phone lines etc which is great convenient and easy. I had this for my home wireless phone and internet service, I was a Verizon customer for years, everything was fine until I switched to their wireless service. Using my services, I even went to a wonderful free concert they were giving on a quiet evening and sang while their voice came out of my computer speakers. with love2 - And I danced with joy when dear sweet Verizon showed me her eternal love and gratitude at the end of the month and sat down for these kids with a $1000 bill. yes, you see correctly. What they don't tell you is that you have a limit and pay 25 cents per minute for minutes like a cell phone. [liar] I was told that the cellular plan I chose and contracted to pay about $100 a month was unlimited snooping, my heart breaks. I cried with joy when I called every local Verizon office in the Massachusetts area for help and received the following message [YOU HAVE A NON-WORKING Verizon NUMBER] Email Responses [I SEE YOU HAVE A BALANCE BLAH, BLAH. PLEASE GO TO YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT. CLICK TO MAKE PAYMENT AND MAKE PAYMENT ACTIVITIES ] yes that I'm brain dead? registered mail, on my credit report they say i owe them this amount and every month you get ($40 late payment). Turns out they didn't cover the $80 monthly payment for the previous month for the no-contract account I had before switching to wireless. Despite the fact that I paid them the full bills with a $40 late fee added each month, they are sent a fake $80 bill that at last count was over $600 in late fees. I told them I have all my contrary receipts but they still stand. You will receive bills with this threat (to protect your credit, please initiate payment). They don't tell you that all companies are required by law to tell you when your payments are late, there will be a late payment fee before any changes are made. and if the due date changes, no, hundreds of customers have not been contacted, um, that's illegal. A business friend who is on a monthly plan of $80 and always pays received $80 in late fees after 2 months when his due date of 15. Your bill is $120 a month and you owe another $200. Yes folks, it looks like they can raise the stakes whenever they want too. My main goal is to help others avoid this affliction. Sorry this is very long I know but I hope this helps. And I couldn't resist the added humor as I try to keep my sense of humor even in annoying situations lol.
