It's written, sorry, it's written. so bad that they actually had to hire a translator who knew some English because the author of the guide wasn't sure! Terrible English mixed with repeated references to buttons like the Back/Confirm button which doesn't even exist on the device! (And immediately starts not trusting the instructions). I think they meant the "Enter" button, but I have a feeling the guide's author might not even have seen either of them before writing this - too bad. The ones that seem to apply are arranged quite illogically, making interpretation or use even more confusing, and are in the minority as too much space is wasted on security and other things that normally no one would even look at. Can anyone really wash this by dipping it in water? Truth? They didn't even bother to explain/define what some of the buttons on the device do or how to use them! Apparently we must be born with this knowledge already within us. Not a professional device at this price. This means the users are unlikely to be professional mechanics and will need proper guidance. How well does it work? I don't know, I can't say without trusting the designers. However, the way the instructions are written might mean this is something I could do? And who should you ask? Now should I wait until something else goes wrong and I get an alert about it to see what actually did it? The "Help" menu (yes, of course.), one of the few buttons that needs no explanation and takes up a lot of command space for many functions from too few buttons, is just for raising blood pressure. from disappointment. How well does it actually work? Hard to say as I don't trust the thing at all. For example, the main thing I bought this for in the first place, as mentioned above, I was just worried that if I disabled the whole feature, it would stab me in the back. And that was the start of using it after trying to decipher the instructions. Are you trying to decide if it's worth the hassle of returning it, or will everything else in this price range be just as bad? They all seem very similar and I really don't feel like wasting time looking at the others, but I won't buy a much more expensive professional grade device for the rare occasion that one is needed!
