Review on πŸ”§ Set of 4 Heavy-Duty Leveling Feet for Furniture Legs – Adjustable Load Levelers for Workbenches, Cabinets, Pool Tables, Benches, and Machine Feet (4000 LB Capacity) by Matt Nichols

A solid block with an annoying (but not major) downside

The mount is strong. Stronger than I expected. It has great freedom of movement, so it's great for a mobile workbench, which I'll be pairing it with. From time to time I need to move it and adjust it to different heights, so I appreciate being able to do that here. I like that the second nut is also for locking. It also has a nicely structured lower leg that helps prevent slipping on the floor. Unfortunately, this also leads to my big problem. This bracket is adjustable by rotating the type of hex nut bracket you can see just above the foot. Unfortunately, this entire assembly is fixed rather than freely rotating. This means that as the load on the leg increases, it becomes increasingly difficult to rotate while resting on the ground. Because of this, I am concerned about the durability of the foot's black plastic base. If it were more of a ball joint, the tab could remain stationary while the rest of the thread adjusts up and down. Another downside is that the "shortest" state when the screw is all the way down puts the foot a little lower than I would hope. I may have to shorten the legs of the bench to compensate. For others, this can be easily adjusted during the build process, so I'm not downgrading it. I'm still giving it 4 stars because most of the use cases I can think of are more like "set and forget". it's a "approach. leveling a closet or a bed or something. In these cases there is much less worry about the floor rubbing off the foot due to repeated rotations, and the height can be adjusted during the design process. Overall I recommend this leg.
