I found the cables to be strong, easy to put on, and almost invisible (and I'm very sensitive to labels, scratchy materials, etc.). The double tape/inserts seemed useless to me, they didn't hold up, the plastic was less flexible, pinched more on the finger etc. But the cord is excellent, I've been wearing the same piece of cord for about 3 months. , and finally cut off a new piece as the other stretched a bit and turned yellow. I finally decided to resize the ring, but if I didn't I would think the cord here would last around 6-12 months (for whichever size you prefer). Overall I only used about a quarter of the materials as the rest were the wrong thickness and size but hey it was about the price of a McChicken so :shrug:
