I am very disappointed with what Wahl is doing now. These clippers are nothing like the Wahl clippers I bought over 15 years ago. I've had these scissors for a year now. Used about once a month since purchase. After the first use, the blade rusted and became inoperable. I contacted Wahl and they were kind enough to send me a new blade with no hassle. Now, after about 11 months with a new blade, it wasn't cutting very well and started pulling at the hair. My 15+ year old set now cuts better than this one. When it comes to hair clippers, I think the Wahl brand could be bought. This will now be the last choice I'll ever spend money on. UPDATE: Wahl Customer Support has reached out through this review and is attempting to resolve the issue. They sent me a replacement kit which is an updated version of this kit. Due to the excellent customer service, I'm increasing my rating to 3 stars. Now I just hope this new improved hair clipper will last more than 11 months.
