Review on Norpro 865 Master Apple Potato Slicer by Juan Patel

As a Norpro product I wasn't concerned about quality or functionality. Not correct! The blade is too sharp for the cutting width. Neither one nor the other can be adjusted. Either you adjust the blade so that at least 1/4+ of the apple is thrown out when you cut it (so about 1/2 inch in diameter is lost), or each slice has a strip of peel on either side of the cut! ... incredibly wasteful or leaves bits of skin on each slice. The levers/controls feel very fragile and you have to reach for the knife to use them unless turning counter-clockwise with your left hand! I wanted one with a suction cup to attach. The ONLY thing I like more about Norpro is that the slices are a bit thicker. but it doesn't peel thicker slices completely unless you're ready to knock a bunch of good apples off the skin! I. I like the suction nozzle. I called Norpro. Back, I didn't like it. And that's what I update: I'm trying to return it. I have to pay postage! I'm struggling with this as either my device is defective or the manufacturer is incorrectly advertising it. Update: My return has been approved. Fine print. must be new unused.so. I can't get this piece of shit back! BEWARE OF THE SELLER - Hearthshire and Goods!
