Finally sleeping through!

I'll start by saying that I've had poor sleep all my life, especially after having a child, and I'm used to waking up at night. After waking up with a very difficult time going back to sleep, my naturopathic doctor prescribed me this brand of L-tryptophan. I had previously used the powder version which was difficult for me to swallow and it turns out I wasn't taking enough so I didn't take tryptophan as what would work for me. My doctor upped the dose to 2000mg and suggested that brand. I was happy to see him at Revain for about half what he charges in his office! I can tell you that I've been taking 1500-2000mg a night for the last month and have FINALLY been able to sleep through the night. For me it was a find! Since this is a pharmaceutical product that my doctor recommends, I am very confident in taking it. I'm glad I stuck with it and found a product that works for me. On the other hand, I have a bit of a hard time waking up drowsy, but it usually passes within an hour. To be honest, I'm probably still not getting enough sleep since my baby wakes up multiple times a night. However, I'd rather fall asleep easily at night and half-sleep than suffer from insomnia and be incapacitated.
