The instructions that came with this product are very poor to say the least. Nowhere is it explained where and how to change the batteries (must be disassembled, you need 2 batteries). Usually the product comes unassembled, although assembling it is not that difficult. The screen is large and very clear. I use a TIG welding helmet and it works great for this purpose. All the controls are inside the helmet which is a shame but for the money it is what it is. All in all, not a bad product, just not a great product. I will say that the transparency of the helmet is better than other helmets of the same or slightly higher cost.
