If you want to build your own with some starter parts.

That's really rubbish. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just needed something in the driveway to get between our RV and the car we had parked in the back. I didn't care that it was cheap, I just had to stand to the side and move a bit when the bumper hit it. I thought even something cheap and inferior would do so much. I am on the mend. Pros: These little gems look decent when you take them out of the box. The parts can be put together quite easily. Cons: Blinking doesn't occur when you click on a character. It flashes at weird random times, but I can't find any rhyme or explanation for the exact reason. Definitely not because the bumper hit the sign as advertised. Although I can live without blinking. - The sign won't stand. It falls at the slightest wind. Yes, the base is weighted, but not enough to support the weight of the shield and the swinging of the poles. The top is heavy. The sign at the top causes the poles to swing violently. This is probably a problem as the weighted base cannot compensate for this. In one of the falls, the shield's plastic was torn off by the wind, and the piece where the pole enters the base also broke. The quality is what I expect from a dollar store. They are completely and utterly useless. I gave them 2 stars because I plan to take them apart and use the support sections for other purposes. Summary: If you want to build your own stop signs and start with a few parts, that's fine. You can reinforce the base or build it yourself and adjust the posts and stop signs as needed. If you want something that can stand on its own, stay away from them.
