I just upgraded one of the cheap rectangular pH meters and I'm glad I did. Organization of counter and buffer solutions. At first I was concerned that the calibration bottles would leak, but they also seem to stay sealed when stored on their side. It would be nice if the housing were designed so that the meter and all five liquid reservoirs were in the same orientation, allowing the probe tip to stay submerged in the storage solution and avoiding spilling buffer solutions. But like I said, I haven't seen any leaks yet. I was hesitant between the PH60 and PH20 combo kit which includes extra buffers and a tray to hold the calibration containers as the price was very similar. I'm glad I finally got this one. The backlight really helps make the display easier to read in most lighting conditions. I also like that I can only replace the probe tip every few years instead of throwing it away. Also very nice is the presence of a case in which to store the meter itself, as well as buffer solutions and calibration vials. This is a very compact, professional looking kit. My only real complaint is that unfortunately the body uses cast hinges instead of pin hinges, so they wear out over time. When the hinges wear out I just buy one of those little hard wall cases that come with perforated foam blocks so you can adjust them to fit any shape of item. This also solves the problem with the different placement of the counter and bins. Overall I really like this whole grain beer brew meter and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new or an upgrade to their existing cheap pH meter for this purpose.
