The box has no age indication, which should indicate that it is not intended for children. I've made a few snap rugs in the past and this is NOT an easy project. The chart is easy to follow, but there are many variations in color and shape. I have the bodice finished and you will need to follow the pattern closely as they add very little extra yarn. I'm currently working on the cross stitch on the bottom. If you're the type of guy who already owns a snap hook, then this project might be for you. The results are too cute and seem to be of good quality.
